This English cottage style house was originally built in 1928, but had been negatively altered since. All windows were replaced with aluminum ones, and an incompatible addition was constructed at the rear. A separate recreation room was also built behind the detached garage. The recreation room, and the rear addition to the house were removed. Access to the garden was through the laundry room. The laundry room was relocated, and the kitchen was completely remodeled and opened up to the garden with French doors. The dining room was opened up to the kitchen, giving a connection to the garden starting at the front of the house. A new addition was built at the rear, consisting of a laundry room and the primary suite, opening onto the garden.
